Detailed wave-by-wave Fortis Colosseum guide for OSRS 2026. Every enemy type, modifier strategy, and optimal pathing from wave 1 to Sol Heredit.
Colosseum Waves Detailed
The Fortis Colosseum features 12 waves of gladiatorial combat. This guide breaks down every wave, enemy type, and the optimal strategy for each.
Enemy Types
- Fremennik Warrior: Melee. Moderate HP. Standard tank-and-spank.
- Fremennik Archer: Ranged. Lower HP but hits hard. Prioritize these.
- Fremennik Seer: Magic. Pray Magic when alive. Kill second priority after archers.
- Jaguar Warrior: Fast melee. Dodges attacks. Use ranged to keep distance.
- Serpent Shaman: Magic + healing. Kill these FIRST or they heal other enemies.
- Manticore: All styles. Very tanky. Save these for last.
- Minotaur: Heavy melee. Charges at you. Dodge the charge attack.
Wave Breakdown
Waves 1-3: Warm Up
Basic Fremennik warriors and archers. Use melee. Save supplies.
Waves 4-6: Introducing Specials
Jaguar Warriors and Seers appear. Pray Magic against Seers, use Ranged against Jaguars. Kill order: Shaman > Archer > Seer > Melee
Waves 7-9: Getting Hard
Manticores and Minotaurs join. These are tanky and hit hard. Use protection prayers and special attacks. Conserve food by praying correctly.
Waves 10-11: The Gauntlet
Multiple Manticores + Shamans + ranged enemies. This is where most runs fail. Focus Shamans first, then ranged, then melee.
Wave 12: Sol Heredit
The final boss. Multi-phase fight with melee combos, a shield phase, spear throws, and an enrage below 50% HP. Key mechanics:
- Dodge the charge: Move 2 tiles when you see the animation
- Shield phase: Attack with the correct style shown
- Spear throw: Move laterally to dodge
- Grapple: Freedom immediately or take massive combo damage
Modifier Strategy
- Always take the easiest modifier offered. Do not stack hard modifiers early.
- Avoid Doom modifiers that increase enemy accuracy (stacks badly with Sol Heredit).
- Brawler and Dynamic modifiers are generally the most manageable.
